About Enable Technology Sheffield Microsoft Project Training Courses

Enable Technology provides practical Microsoft Project skills based technology training. The tutor teaching the course will be an experienced developer and Microsoft certified professional. Everyone attending a Microsoft Project course receives learning resources which also serves as a reference source after the course. Course participants are welcome contact the Tutor after the course with specific Microsoft Project queries. This support is open ended.

Delegates are taught by an experienced Microsoft professional. Microsoft Project courses are delivered through a mix of practical hands on exercises and walk throughs. We are set up to deliver Microsoft Project training courses onsite at your premises. We also offer the option of scheduling of Microsoft Project course at a socially distanced venue near you in Sheffield. We will work with you prior to the course to tailor the Microsoft Project syllabus to match your requirements.

We also deliver this course online. Delegates participate in a virtual Microsoft Project class and can both talk to and share their screen with the tutor.

  • Microsoft Project - Level 3 aims to take the learner to more advanced levels of Microsoft Project. It covers a diverse range of topics including working simultaneously on multiple projects, sharing resources between several projects, downsizing very large projects, using templates, and automating operations with VBA.

    At the completion of this course you should be able to:

    Create and work with several types of custom fields
    Create and work with WBS Codes
    Create a custom view with a custom filter, group and table
    Run and modify standard graphical reports as well as create your own custom reports
    Create and work with visual reports
    Work with and create project templates
    Work with and link multiple projects in Project
    Create shared resources for use amongst multiple projects
    Downsize large project files into more manageable entities
    Export project data to other applications
    Collaborate on projects with others using Skype for Business and SharePoint
    Create VBA macros to automate operations in a project file
